◆ 専門分野 代数学・幾何学

1950年代にJ.Dieudonne´等により、体上で完成された古典群論を基礎にして、 環上の古典群論の再構築に取り組んでいます。
◆ 主な成果 ある種の環（full ring）上の古典群において、交換子群で正規化されるすべての部分群の分類を完成した。 これは、局所環上でklingenbergが得た結果の一般化である。また、ある種の古典群のある種の部分集合が生成系となるための必要十分条件を与えた。
