◆ 専門分野	解析学 局所コンパクト可換群及び非可換コンパクト群上の調和解析。また、位相変換群上の 測度のスペクトルの性質にも関心を持っている。
◆ 主な成果	コンパクト可換群が局所コンパクトHausdorff 空間に作用する変換群上の測度について、Forelli（1967年）の結果に 対応した結果を得た。また、このことを利用して、Brummelhuis（1987年）が与えた、中心が circle group を含む 非可換コンパクト群上の F.-M. Riesz の定理に関連した結果の拡張を与えた。
